Our Ayurvedic Shea, Mango & Chebe Whip is made using a blend of both Nigerian and Ghanaian Shea Butter. It is a whipped blend of butters, oils and Ayurvedic herbs. Its ingredients are used in both Indian and African cultures. They penetrate and the nourish the hair shaft and promote healthier, longer hair.
Shea Butter is rich in fatty acids and vitamins and is great for both hair and skin with its moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties. It can help reduce breakage and split ends and improve shine and frizz. Shea butter’s anti-inflammatory properties also help to reduce redness and scalp irritation by providing healing effects without clogging the pores. It's great emollient qualities means it’s also very good at locking in moisture on both hair and skin.
Mango Butter very similar to Shea Butter, it is rich in fatty acids, vitamins and anti-oxidants.
High levels of saturated and mono-saturated fatty acids make it useful for natural hair because it seals in moisture and protects the strand.
Mango butter helps the scalp to regenerate skin and can be very healing for anyone suffering from conditions like dandruff, eczema, or psoriasis. It reduces the degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity, creating the ideal environment for hair to grow.
How to Use:
For thicker hair textures this can be used as a sealant on hydrated hair or after our Ayurvedic Leave-In Hair Tea.
For finer and straighter textures it can be used as a rinse-out conditioner after shampooing. Alternatively, a small amount can be rubbed into your palm and scrunched into the ends of your hair whilst damp.
It comes in a 180ml glass amber jar and is solid in consistency. However, when rubbed into warm hands it melts like a dream!
