Our moisturizing water base is infused with sweet ginger root and lemon extracts for an enlivening, aromatic cleansing experience. Moisturizing oil droplets of aniseed, cassia and castor are stirred together to create this cleanse and soften ritual elixir.

Directions:

Drench strands in the shower and apply Sweet Ginger Cleansing Rinse throughout the length of hair. For thicker textures, section first before applying to ensure every strand is penetrated. Using fingers or palms, massage to emulsify with water until hair is clean. Follow with your favourite Camille Rose Naturals conditioning treatment.

Not my favourite shampoo

I love Camille Rose products so wanted to love this more. It's ok. It's smells pleasant, great if you prefer subtle scents in products. It felt a bit like it left a film on the hair, but hair still looked like it normally does, just felt a bit tacky.

Disappointed

Unfortunately for me, the shampoo did NOT agree with my hair.
Initially when I used it, I loved the way it made my hair feel while washing, my hair felt so soft while massaging through my scalp but after I rinsed out the shampoo my hair was strangely dry and extremely Tangley, it was so tangley that strands of my hair were coming out in my hand. My hair is 4c/4b texture and high in porosity. I thought maybe it was just me, so tried it again week or so later and the exact same thing happened but worse!! Dry, tangly and hair strands were literally on my hands each time I ran my hand through it. The positives - the bottle is not large but it will definitely last you a good while because you only need a small amount.
